Bill Cosby was on...

.....Meet The Press and David Gregory asked him what it was like for him personally voting for Obama. Cos said that he brought pictures of his deceased parents and brother into the booth with him, set them up and said " and now we vote". He said it was wonderful.
I took a picture of my vote. Anyone else out there do anything interesting? Keep it clean. I think a collection of such stories would be an interesting project. To me anyhow.
We are still heading to DC next week to try to get somewhere within several miles of the inauguration ( no tickets yet, but they haven't been distributed yet- so ...hey.... maybe we will get lucky ) . It's probably crazy but it will be an adventure. Besides its two days after our wedding anniversary so - what the heck.

Took the youngest back to school today . The eldest has also flown the proverbial coop. It's suddenly a bit too quiet here.

I enjoyed your "Harvey" reference on The Gold Puppy site. When are you leaving for DC and how long will you be there? I'm trying to remember if I did anything special with my vote. I only remeber a quiet sense of completion.

we have a hotel room in Manassas Va the night of the 20th. We will leave at 3:00 AMish that morning. We are probably stark raving mad. It's about a four hour drive from here....uh...normally that is.

I will hug CA for U X2. Keep the info coming on the inaugural vigil. It is fascinating. Kind of like a grown up Woodstock.
