Random stuff

My hand is still messed up but somewhat better.

I am still a geek( always and forever) and in true geek fashion obsessed with what may be the best Science Fiction TV series of all time which ends tonight. Here is an article about why it is so damned good. Here is where you can find the special presentation at the United Nations that the cast and creators of the show participated in. Look in March 17th's 2009 archive for the broadcast. It was wonderful - but be aware that if you haven't seen the show or are behind a couple of seasons, the webcast is rife with " spoilers". And this is a show that is so full of surprises that it is best to remain spoiler free. Suffice it to say that the United Nations thought it was important enough to center a panel discussion about human rights around it. Tonight the series finale will be broadcast and my husband, geek daughter and I will be drowning our sorrows in ambrosia and cornerless crackers and algae dip. So Say We All.

Depression is no fun, especially when you don't really realize it until you're on the other side of it. If you know what I mean.

So sorry your series is ending. But for me, it will be a good place to start viewing earlier episodes. I will come back later to visit your links. What kind of algae dip are we having tonight?

I'm sure you've tried many things to improve your depression so you've probably tried this, but what about massage? I am a therapist and one of the many benefits is the increased seratonin levels which also help depression. Love ya, bye.

I'm sorry to hear about your hand. It's frustrating to have an ache and not know where it came from. I have a few family members that deal with depression. So many people don't understand and think you can just snap out of it if you choose. I'm glad you found a therapist that suits you.
