is arriving in little fits and starts- a heat wave in April, a cold rainy May and so far June is getting mixed reviews from this hot weather lover. This morning I attempted to sleep late but was awaken by very loud thunder and terrified doggies and more rain. Lots more rain. I need sun. Massive amounts of sun. However the other evening this was the view from my porch:
The husband's brother and family came to visit from California and we took them down to Washington D. C. where the husband, who loves playing D. C. tour guide, told a lot of lies about the distances between one memorial and another and walked his tired relatives for hours in the hot sun. I loved it- walking in hot humid weather is my favorite activitity ( seriously, I am odd) but his sister in law and the kids were wilting a bit. Pictures to follow next time . Maybe. I am having trouble getting myself to sit down at this thing lately. It's summer. Almost. I need to be out in it.

What a gorgeous photo. Glad to hear from you.
There are a lot of balloonists in this area. It is so much fun to watch the balloons drift by. I love it!
Cool view! Do you want a visitor or two sometime this summer? Muffy and I may do a road trip...
Of course, movie. I am hoping to travel northward as well.....
"walking in hot humid weather is my favorite activitity"
Whoa! Wild eyed? Carrying a running chain saw? I moved to Oregon partly to GET AWAY from walking in hot, humid weather.
I know, Snow. It is true. I am weird. I wake up in the heat and fall asleep when it is crisp and cold. I don't get it either.
I wish I could visit too...I was just telling Dennis what a pretty town you live in... but the thought of the drive with the kids.. well... there's just not enough ativan on the planet to make that possible....
